The team started out by drawing basic design ideas on a board where they could be viewed and evaluated by the group.

Once they had a design they liked they went to the computer to make it more precise.

The thin plastic ring will act as a bearing for the steering column. Notice the use of paper mache, this makes very strong joints.

The team ended up using nuts and bolts as well as construction glue to re-enforce the steering column to fork connection.
|
|
|
|
This sturdy tricycle went on to take first place on the race course.
