In the front fork the team used wooden dowels to create a roller bearing.

On the wheels the team used common Bic pen bodies to make a roller bearing.

This shows how the wheel, sono tube axle and bearing fit together. This design gave the wheels a very fast spin.

It also passed the weight bearing tests.
