Assignments For Week 7
Assignment: Individualized AutoCAD Project
- Due Date: In one week
- Drawing Type: Individualized by major
- Drawing Source: Flexible. Use other texts or sample drawings provided by
instructor or advisor.
- Complexity Level: Drawing must be approved by instructor.
- Printing: If the drawing is large, it may be printed in two or more sections,
but one complete print should be generated at an appropriate scale for the
available printer paper size, with a suitable border.
This week your assignment is to complete an AutoCAD project directly related
to your major program. For instance, if your major is Mechanical Engineering
Technology or Manufacturing Technology, it is suggested you complete a realistic
assembly drawing. If your major is Construction Technology, it is suggested
you complete a plan view of a structure such as a floorplan, HVAC plan, or plumbing
plan. Ask your advisor what would be the most beneficial for you. At your earliest
convenience, please consult your major program advisor for directions.
Assignment For Non-Technology or Graphic Communications Majors: 3D surface
modeling of an Airplane
See Chapters 22 and 23 for reference. Review the handouts including Assignment
Details and AutoCAD 3D Tools.
